DO-IT, is still the largest national conference of AIESEC in Switzerland. AIESEC Alumni Switzerland, in cooperation the AIESEC in Switzerland, is planing to have a young alumni track starting on Friday and an alumni track starting on Saturday.
We have been working on a relationship with an execuitve search firm which would help us to provide valuable sessions to our delegates. Thanks to the cooperation, we are able to bring Facilitators to the Alumni Track to deliver the sessions. We are looking forward to the sessions and to all the delegates!
Emotional Intelligence for Leaders
Dealing with other people is a crucial factor for successful leadership; How to handle and understand own emotions and the feelings and opinions of others? How to influence the people around you in a positive way? This module is trying to answer these and more questions covering the topic of EI. Additionally will the session participants be able to engage in various extra activities and games. The module will also offer time to reflect on the experience and conclude the key learning. Optional coaching will be available upon request.
Leadership & Followership
Good leadership includes to follow at times. The participants shall learn when to take the lead and when to follow.
Understanding myself and others in high performing teams
The module provides and introduction to the topic of leadership development focusing on looking inwards and understanding the concept of personality in order to prepare for the next steps in leadership. Participants will have the chance to learn about themselves, their relationships to others and about key theories and techniques for continuous personal development. They will learn more about different personalities through the MBIT personality type model and take part in exercises. Throughout the module, participants will have the chance to contribute to interactive sessions, support the learning of others and reflect on what they have learned and how to use it in their everyday life.
Leading a team comes with a wide range of challenges. This session shall give space to learn about those challenges and how they can be handled. The participants as well as the facilitators will share their experiences and enable each other to face similar challenges in the future.
